The Boston Herald reports that five-time Grammy winner Sir Elton John will be the team's honorary captain when the Patriots take on Tampa Bay at Wembley Stadium on Oct. 25. The music legend himself revealed the news while visiting the owner's box at Gillette Stadium before his concert with Billy Joel on July 18.
The singer-songwriter is reportedly close friends with Patriots owner Robert Kraft.
