The unnecessarily dramatic offseason of free agent Lamar Odom has taken yet another turn, thanks to the Twitter page of Heat star Dwyane Wade.
Wade, who played in Miami with Odom during the 2003-04 season, has stated publicly he'd love to reunite with the forward. Now, Wade has taken his crusade to his Twitter page, writing on Saturday morning:
This is for Lamar Odom…come back to where it started for the both of us..the franchise u help build back up wants u to End it all here
Wade then started taking his recruiting efforts to the next level, posting early Monday morning:
I'm in LA to bring odom bac to miami with me lol lol lol. LA fans dnt get mad at me..
Wade's efforts could be paying off, with Yahoo reporting that Odom and the Heat are "close" to reaching an agreement. The Orange County Register, however, claims such reports are just "agent posturing."
