Who's winning the Jets quarterback battle today?

The answer seems to be changing daily, but at the moment, Kellen Clemens and Mark Sanchez seem to be in a deadlock.

According to Syracuse.com, both aspiring quarterbacks are looking comfortable, but they both have a lot of work to do — especially when it comes to sending the pigskin to the safety of their receivers' arms. With a little more work and some concentration, though, the Jets should have a sound option under center come September.

Clemens is confident that the option could be him.

"Offensively, first and foremost, we didn't turn the ball over, which is good," he told Syracuse.com. "With a defense as talented as ours, if we don't turn the ball over, we put ourselves in a very good position to win."

Sanchez ran into some challenges — particularly with his own defense and with the no-huddle offense — but he understands that the growing pains will disappear as training camp progresses.

"The most important thing is being loud and letting [the rest of the offense] know you're in control," he told the blog. "It is just a good experience because your voice has to drown out everything else."

Looks like he's getting in some early practice for his first visit to Foxborough.
