The Patriots signed safety Roderick Rogers on Tuesday, though terms of the agreement were not announced.

Rogers was released by the Minnesota Vikings on June 1, 2009 after joining the team's practice squad for the end of the 2008 season. He played in three games in 2008 with the Denver Broncos before being released on Nov. 25, 2008.

Rogers was signed by the Broncos as a rookie free agent out of Wisconsin in 2007. He spent the majority of his rookie season on the Denver practice squad before being signed to the 53-man roster for the last two games of the season.
