Peabody Western Little League easily handled Bangor East Little League on Saturday morning, cruising to a 13-0 win in the New England regional tournament at Leon J. Breen Field.
Peabody managed four home runs off Bangor East pitching, highlighted by the effort of catcher Traverse Brianna, who went 3-for-3 with four RBIs and two runs scored. The top four players in the lineup all homered and accounted for nine of Peabody's 14 hits.
Austin Batchelor took the mound for Peabody and submitted three innings of work, allowing just one hit and striking out six.
