Report: Knicks Closing in on Signing Ramon Sessions

The Knicks could have restricted free-agent point guard Ramon Sessions signed as early as Tuesday, his agent told the New York Post.

"We've been playing footsie with the Knicks the last two weeks," Chubby Wells, Sessions' agent, told the Post. "I'm sure we'll clarify something in the next couple days with the Knicks or another team and figure out what's going on."

Sessions, 23, averaged 11.6 points and six rebounds per game in his first two seasons.

The Knicks have yet to sign restricted free agents David Lee or Nate Robinson, so terms of a deal for Sessions could be taking longer than usual to get hammered out.
