Scratch Brandon Roy off the list of potential post-2010 NBA free agents.
The two-time All-Star signed a five-year contract extension, keeping the 25-year-old in Portland for the next half-decade.
The report was confirmed by his agent, Bob Myers, according to ESPN.com’s Chad Ford.
The exact amount of the contract will not be determined until next July, when the new NBA salary cap is set. The deal is reported to pay him around $14 million for the 2010-11 season, with 10-15 percent yearly raises through the end of the contract.
Roy will make just under $4 million this season, the final year of his rookie deal.
