Brady: 'Talk Is Cheap' When it comes to winning football games, Tom Brady knows what he’s talking about. It shouldn’t come as a surprise then that he’s not really a fan of doing so.

When asked about lineman Kris Jenkins‘ comments that the Jets are treating their upcoming game against the Patriots like it’s the Super Bowl, Brady gave an answer that probably could have been predicted.

“We’re going to need to match that level of intensity,” Brady said in a Wednesday news conference, according to The Boston Globe. “We obviously are very confident as a team. Talk is cheap. You’ve got to go out there and do it on the field.”

Brady also touched on the Jets’ acquisition of his former backup, quarterback Kevin O’Connell.

“You’ve got to change some things, because I’m sure Kevin has told them some things that can help them,” Brady said. “But at the end of the day, it comes down to how well you can execute. [Even if the Jets have] some inside information, you’ve still got to throw the ball, complete it and block. I think that’s more important than anything.”
