ESPNBoston.com officially launched early Monday morning.
The new site is similar to ESPN's national Web site, ESPN.com, but with a clear focus on the greater Boston area.
NESN insider and longtime Patriots reporter Mike Reiss is one of the local writers expected to contribute to the new ESPNBoston.com.
The launch of ESPNBoston.com is intended to coincide with the Patriots' season opener on Monday night against the Buffalo Bills.
