He's had many big plays and fond memories in the New England secondary, but former cornerback Ty Law's most memorable moment came more than 1,500 miles from Foxborough, Mass.
"I'd have to say it was that pick from the first Super Bowl [against the Rams]," Law told ESPNBoston.com's Mike Reiss when asked of his favorite memory with the Pats. "I think that's something that is always going to stick out, because it was a game-changer, a momentum-changer for everybody and gave our team a lot of confidence to carry it out because we were heavy underdogs coming into the game. That will always stick out as one of my favorite plays of all time."
Law, who played in New England from 1995-2004, was recently named to the franchise's 50th anniversary team and was in town to check out the Patriots Hall of Fame at Patriots Place on Monday afternoon, just hours before his former squad is set to host the Bills in the season-opener at Gillette Stadium.
"This is actually my first time seeing this place, and walking through here, seeing all the pictures and memorabilia, it's bringing back a lot of fond memories," said Law. "I spent most of my career here, and I'm really amazed at the job the Kraft family did in putting this together. It's touching to see my picture scattered around."
