After missing the Giants' season opener against the Redskins, cornerback Aaron Ross will miss at least another week of action with an injured left hamstring, The New York Daily News reports.
Ross underwent platelet-rich plasma therapy treatment on his hamstring, but even that has not helped his progress. Defensive tackle Chris Canty had the same procedure done and it was successful as Canty played in the Week 1 game.
“I’m feeling a difference, but it’s still not completely healed yet," Ross told the Daily News. "I
don’t know how much longer I have for it to be completely healed. I’m
still getting treatment and trying to get it better.”
Ross has been told to undergo the usual treatment and gets lots of rest to overcome the nagging injury. A timetable for his return has not yet been determined.
