Jason Bay, who left Friday night’s series opener in Baltimore with an illness, will miss Saturday’s game. The left fielder, who slugged his team-best 34th home run of the season Friday night, was originally in the lineup on Saturday, batting sixth and starting in left field.

He is replaced in the field by Josh Reddick, who will start in left and bat eighth, while J.D. Drew slides up from the eighth spot in the lineup to sixth.

In 14 games this season, Reddick is batting .225 (9-for-40) with a home run and four doubles.
