The ongoing drama that Rangers head coach John Tortorella called "stupid" now can be described in a new way.

Over.

Brandon Dubinsky ended his contract dispute on Sunday, signing a two-year, $3.7 million deal with the Rangers, the New York Post reports. The 23-year-old forward is expected to be the team's No. 1 center.

"I’m relieved," Dubinsky told The Post. "I’m happy that this is over so that I can focus all my attention and energy on getting ready for the season. The contract and everything that went with it is behind me. I’m just looking forward to getting on the ice with my team and with Torts and doing whatever I can to help the Rangers."

The Alaska native has topped 40 points in each of his last two seasons — his first two full campaigns in the NHL. He had missed the first week of training camp.
