Report: Broncos Willing to Trade Marshall For Jets’ David Harris

Shortly after Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels said Denver has not had any conversations with any NFL teams regarding a potential trade for Brandon Marshall, ESPN.com reports that Denver would be willing to make a trade — as long as Jets linebacker David Harris ends up in a Broncos uniform.

Although sources have indicated that New York is "very interested" in acquiring Marshall, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that it is uncertain whether New York is willing to deal Harris, who led the Jets in tackles in 2007.

Marshall has publicly stated numerous times that he wants to be dealt from Denver, and his conduct during team practices — swatting balls thrown to him, punting the ball away from a ballboy — certainly suggests the same.

ESPN.com states that Denver will only make a trade if it receives a player that can contribute this season, plus a draft pick. Despite Marshall's antics, the Broncos will not make a trade that doesn't meet those standards. They'd rather have a disgruntled Pro Bowl-caliber wideout than no Pro Bowler at all.
