Yesterday's report that the Celtics had agreed to terms with Marquis Daniels appears to be true, as Boston.com reports that the deal has been confirmed.
According to the report, Daniels' deal is for one year at the biannual exception, worth $1.99 million.
In 54 games for Indiana last season, Daniels averaged 13.6 points and 4.6 rebounds in 31.5 minutes per game. In six seasons in the NBA, Daniels is averaging 9.4 points and 2.1 assists per game.
Despite playing his second-fewest number of games last year due to a groin injury, 2008-09 was his most productive season offensively in the NBA.
