At long last, Richard Seymour has arrived in Oakland.

The Raiders reported that their newly acquired defensive end arrived at the team's facility via a pretty self-explnatory tweet:

"DE Richard Seymour has arrived at The Oakland Raiders' Alameda, Calif., facility. More to come on Raiders.com later this evening."

Earlier on Saturday, Seymour's agent said that his client would report. Seymour said in an interview with the Boston Herald that he needed to sort out personal matters before joining the Raiders.

"First of all, I was blindsided by this whole event," Seymour told the Herald. "When you get blindsided, you should take a moment to gather your thoughts. I have a lot of personal issues more pressing than football."
