Wes Welker Questionable for Season Opener Patriots fans envisioning Tom Brady and the Patriots offense to instantly regain its 2007 form may need to wait, because No. 2 receiver Wes Welker was listed as questionable in the team's Saturday injury report.

Welker, who caught the most passes by far last season with 111, has missed a good amount of time throughout the preseason with what the team lists as a knee injury, though it hasn't been considered serious.

The other five Patriots who were listed as questionable were defensive lineman Myron Pryor (calf), cornerback Terrence Wheatley (knee), receiver Julian Edelman (ankle), offensive lineman Dan Connolly (back).

One thing from 2007 remains, as Brady was listed as probable (shoulder).

Cornerback Shawn Springs, running back Sammy Morris and tight end Ben Watson were all listed as probable as well.
