Yankees Call Up Shelley Duncan

After being called up for just one game in which he did not see any playing time, Shelley Duncan has once agained been called up by the Yankees with the expansion of the rosters in September.

Duncan hit .277 with 30 home runs and 99 RBIs in 123 games for Triple-A Scrantion-Wilkes Barre this season. He was an All-Star in the International League and also named league MVP for the 2009 season.

In 57 career games with the Yankees, Duncan has hit .221 with eight home runs and 23 RBIs. He last appeared in the majors on June 5, 2008.
