Adam Vinatieri Undergoes Knee Surgery Do we have a new Snickers curse?

Probably not, but The Associated Press is reporting that Adam Vinatieri underwent arthroscopic knee surgery and will miss four to six weeks for the Indianpolis Colts.

The Colts signed Matt Stover in his place, according to the report.

That news means that Vinatieri will likely be out for the Colts' Week 10 matchup with the Patriots in Indy.

Vinatieri ranks 12th in the NFL in scoring with 17 extra points and six field goals. He's missed two field goals, one of which was from more than 50 yards out.

No word yet on the health of Patrick Chewing.
