Milan Lucic Plans on Keeping Gloves Dry Upon Return Those hoping to pay back Milan Lucic for a Looch-issued black eye, crooked nose or cracked jaw will have a small window to do so in about a month.

The left winger, who recently underwent surgery to repair a broken finger, has told WEEI.com that he plans on  playing smart and not fighting immediately upon his return from the injury. The last time he suffered a broken finger, it took at least two months for the knuckles to set.

“You’ve got to be smart about it, protect it a little bit and wait for [the finger] to solidify before you go back to everything you used to do before,” said Lucic. “I definitely didn’t fight right after I came back the last time, and it look a little bit before it was ready to go.”
