Reggie Bush Says He Can Be MVP, While Saints Can Go Undefeated On Tuesday, people around football started discussing the Saints potentially topping the Patriots' scoring record set in 2007.

Reggie Bush took it a step further, saying this year's Saints could match the Patriots' perfect 16-0 record.

"Can we go undefeated? Yes," Bush said in a radio interview, according to ProFootballTalk.com. "I do think we have the players, the chemistry, we have the heart and dedication, the coaching staff, we have the players."

Granted, winning 16 regular-season games doesn't guarantee anything, but it's easy to see that the man who flew threw the air on Sunday to help beat the Dolphins is still brimming with confidence — or perhaps overconfidence is the right word.

"Once I do win an NFL MVP, once we do win a Super Bowl, once I am in the Pro Bowl, it's going to be that much more special because of all the criticism that I had to come through and because of the work I've put into it," Bush said. "It'll mean that much more to me and I'll appreciate it more."

Bush and the Saints might want to take it one step at a time.
