The Bruins could be getting one of their game-changing grinders back for their Northeast divisional matchup this weekend. Forward Shawn Thornton, who has missed the last two games due to an undisclosed injury, will most likely play on Saturday in Ottawa against the Senators, The Boston Globe reports.

Head coach Claude Julien said Thornton had a chance of returning on Thursday against the Flyers, but ended up being held out of the lineup. Thornton was one of four Bruins that practiced on Friday.

Thornton has one goal in seven games this season to go along with 14 penalty minutes.
