Terry Francona Makes Lineup Change, Swaps Jason Bay and David Ortiz In what may be en effort to spice things up for the Red Sox offense, manager Terry Francona has swapped Jason Bay and David Ortiz.

The Sox, who are facing lefty Scott Kazmir at 12 on Sunday, have been limited to just one run on eight total hits in Games 1 and 2 combined.

Bay is hitting .259 with nine homers and 28 RBIs in 147 at-bats in the fifth slot this season, compared to a .296 clip with 12 dingers and 38 RBIs in 152 at-bats in the six hole. In 15 career at-bats against Kazmir, Bay has four hits in 15 at-bats (.267 BA) with one homer and three RBIs.

Ortiz, who is hitting just .212 with six of his 28 homers against lefties this season, hit .216 with 14 RBIs and four homers in the sixth slot this year. Big Papi is hitting just .205 with two longballs and eight RBIs in 44 career at-bats against the Angels lefty.
