It was a long and hard-fought battle, but the Bruins Classics Showdown is over, and we have a winner.

"This Building Is Vibrating" game trumped the competition to take the top prize.

In 2008, the Bruins faced storied rival Montreal in the first round of the playoffs. Down 3-2 in the series, Boston played a memorable Game 6 at the Garden.

The B's overcame three one-goal deficits to stay alive before Marco Sturm broke a 4-4 tie with the game-winner with just 2:37 left in the game. The raucous atmosphere at the Garden was reminiscent of days at the old barn on Causeway Street, and NESN's play-by-play announcer Jack Edwards captured the moment with the memorable line, "This building is vibrating."

The game trumped another momentous occasion in Bruins history: Cam Neely's 50th goal, netted against Washington in 1994. Neely joined Wayne Gretzky and Mario Lemieux as the fastest players to reach the 50-goal mark in a season.
