The weather for the World Series looked suspect when baseball fans woke up on Wednesday morning, but it looks like Game 1 will begin on time.

MLB.com reports that the weather is expected to clear, though fans attending the game should bring rain gear just in case. Weather.com forecasts a 10-20 percent chance of rain throughout game time, which likely wouldn't be cause for a delay of any kind. Showers are expected in the New York area until 5 p.m.

The Yankees have their own Web page to keep up to date on the weather, and it can be found at Yankees.com/weather.
