Montreal’s netminder Carey Price has been the one to blame, as Price is just 4-8 with a 3.08 GAA. Even the Habs’ backup keeper, Jaroslav Halak has more wins (five) than the starter, but that’s not stopping Price from offering his opponents a nice clean shave with his big paddle. Cue The Three Stooges music.

Boston’s 6-5 loss to the Penguins will go down as an overtime loss and one point in the standings, but for some Bruins fans — including JD, who commented on Neil Keefe‘s Bruins recap — that loss appears to be the last straw.
“We absolutely must do something. This is the most frustrating this team has been
since the Dave Lewis era. They are simply a mediocre team. When Savard and Looch get back, yes we will be better, but only slightly? We need a bona fide
superstar/goal-scorer. Look at the final 4 from last year. They all had a front
line goal-scorer to put the puck in the net. Sturm and Ryder just don’t cut it.
Until the B’s get that goal-scorer, they won’t go anywhere in the playoffs, let
alone make them. Hopefully they could swing a deal for Kovalchuk. Don’t know how
they could make that work though.”

Milwaukee’s Brandon Jennings went off Saturday night against the Warriors and broke a few records in the process. The 20-year-old drained 55 points — including 29 in the third quarter alone — to top LeBron James as the youngest player to score at least 50 points in one game in NBA history. Jennings’ 55 points is also a new Bucks rookie record, previously held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (then Lew Alcindor), who drained 51 points in a 1970 game.
