Bruins, Agent Continue Discussions to Extend Center Marc Savard Center Marc Savard's broken foot may have left him idle, but the talks between his agent Larry Kelly and the Boston Bruins apparently haven't been.

Kelly was asked about any potential contract talks during the Hockey Hall of Fame induction speeches Monday night.

"We continue to discuss regularly," Kelly told ESPN.com. "Both sides are interested in getting something done. But obviously there are issues we are working through."

Savvy has been out since Oct. 17, but he recently shed his protective boot and continues to partake in off-ice workouts. In seven games this season prior to the injury, Savard notched four goals and three assists while averaging over 18 minutes of ice time. He has 66 goals and 203 assists since joining the B's in 2006.

The Bruins have until July 1 to extend the 32-year-old before he hits the market as an unrestricted free agent.
