How is Tony Allen preparing for Thanksgiving? By taking 15 students from Timilty Middle School shopping.

The Celtics guard will take Boston students grocery shopping for their favorite Thanksgiving dinner items while teaching them about money and budgeting on Monday, Nov. 23 at 9:30 a.m. at Whole Foods in Boston.

While he helps them shop for food, Allen will teach them about money and budgeting. He will provide each student with a $100 budget to shop for all of his or her family's cooking needs for Thanksgiving, and he will help them each choose main courses, side dishes and desserts while keeping track of each student's spending with a budget sheet.

All students participating in the event come from families in need and were selected based on high achievement in school.
