Center Dan Koppen Has Limited Participation in Wednesday's Practice As the Patriots got back on the practice field in the aftermath of Sunday's heartbreaking loss to the Colts, there were a few key pieces of the puzzle missing.

The good news is that center Dan Koppen, who barely participated in practice last week, had limited participation on Wednesday. At least it's a step up.

Others who had limited participation included linebacker Eric Alexander (groin); tight end Chris Baker (shoulder); nose tackle Ron Brace (ankle); wide receiver Julian Edelman (forearm); tackle Matt Light (knee); and running back Sammy Morris (knee).

Wide receiver Randy Moss did not participate for non-injury related reasons. Other players who did not practice included wide receiver Sam Aiken (hip); linebacker Tully Banta-Cain (groin); defensive end Jarvis Green (knee); linebacker Gary Guyton (illness); guard Stephen Neal (head); linebacker Rob Ninkovich (knee); running back Fred Taylor (ankle); and defensive end Ty Warren (ankle).

On the Jets' side, linebacker Vernon Gholston (hamstring) and safety Jim Leonhard (thumb) did not participate. Defensive end Shaun Ellis (knee) and wide receiver Brad Smith (quad) had limited participation.
