Fans of opposing teams have heard just about enough from Dolphins linebacker Joey Porter. Apparently, so has his coach.

Porter won’t play this Sunday against the Buccaneers. The 32-year-old is listed as out due to “coach’s decision,” The Miami Herald reports.

“Something clearly happened between Friday afternoon when Porter left the practice facility and this afternoon to cause [head coach Tony] Sparano to bench the weakside outside linebacker,” the report said.

Porter won’t be receiving any sympathy cards from New Englanders after his inability to make the stat sheet in last Sunday’s loss to the Patriots. Before that game, Porter had plenty to say about how much he hates the Patriots and what he thinks about the so-called “Tom Brady rule.”

This week, he’s kept quiet, but for the second straight week, he won’t be making any tackles for the Dolphins.
