Lexington-Bedford Edges Leominster in Mini 1-on-1

Sal Frelick put Lexington-Bedford on the board with a goal in the fourth round of the boys’ 8-and-under division matchup against Leominster, but Lexington-Bedford would need a save to continue on in the tournament and face Newport, R.I.

Xavier Marcoux came up big for Lexington-Bedford with a diving stop against Leominster’s Zack Duffy to preserve the 1-0 lead and keep his team’s tournament title dreams alive.

After knocking off Leominster 1-0, Lexington-Bedford will face Newport, R.I. in the next round of the boys’ 8-and-under bracket.
