Bruins goaltender Tim Thomas got in some extra practice on Wednesday, skating with Vladimir Sobotka and Johnny Boychuk after the morning skate in Minnesota, according to John Bishop on the Bruins' official Twitter page.

That likely means that Tuukka Rask will be making his fifth consecutive start on Wednesday night when the Bruins take on the Wild.

Though Thomas' "upper-body injury" remains undisclosed, the injury is not considered serious, The Boston Globe reported on Tuesday.

“It’s one of those injuries that we have to allow him to get better," coach Claude Julien told the Globe. “Yet it could be something that could be cured on a day-to-day basis."
