Fans Have Chance to Skate Alongside Bruins Legends at AT&T Legends Classic

Bruins fans, your dreams of skating alongside your favorite B's legend can soon become a reality.

On Friday, Dec.18, the Boston Bruins Foundation will auction off two spots to play in the upcoming Boston Bruins AT&T Legends Classic on NESN and 98.5 The Sports Hub, with all of the net proceeds benefiting the Boston Bruins Foundation, the NHL and the NHLPA’s Hockey Fights Cancer and the Red Sox Foundation.

The first spot will be auctioned off by the Boston Bruins Foundation on The Sports Hub (98.5 FM) beginning when Toucher and Rich hit the airwaves at 6 a.m. The opportunity will end when Felger and Massarotti go off the air at 6 p.m.

The second spot will be auctioned off by the Boston Bruins Foundation on NESN during the network’s coverage of that night’s Bruins vs.Blackhawks game beginning with W.B. Mason Bruins Face-Off Live at 8 p.m. The winner will be announced following the conclusion of the game during Bruins Overtime Live presented by AceTicket.com.

The bidding of both spots will start at $10,000 and will include a place on either the Black or Gold team, four tickets to the "Boston Bruins AT&T Legends Classic", and their team photo. Bruins fans bidding must be 18 or older and be able to provide their own hockey equipment.

To date, the winners will have the opportunity to skate with Bruins legend and current Vice President Cam Neely, actor and comedian Denis Leary, actors Tim Robbins and Kiefer Sutherland, movie director Bobby Farrelly, musician Ken Casey NHL greats Brian Leetch and Pat LaFontaine and a number of Boston’s most famous alumni including Bob Beers, Andy Brickley, Lyndon Byers, Gary Doak, Ken Hodge, Ken Linseman, Rick Middleton, Terry O’Reilly, Brad Park, Johnny ‘Pie’ McKenzie, Bob Sweeney and Don Sweeney.
