In preparation for Sunday's season finale against Houston, the Patriots signed center Ryan Wendell from the practice squad and waived defensive lineman Titus Adams to make room for him on the 53-man roster.

Wendell was signed by the Patriots as a rookie out of Fresno State in 2008. He played in the first two games of the 2009 season on special teams but was waived on Sept. 22 before being signed to the practice squad on Sept. 24.

Adams started the 2009 season on the practice squad and was signed to the 53-man roster on Dec. 9. He played in two games but was inactive for a Dec. 27 win over Jacksonville.
