Red Sox Change Dates of Games in Opening Series With Yankees

With Opening Day for the Red Sox and Yankees being chosen by ESPN to kick off the season on the night of Sunday, April 4, the remaining games in the series are being moved up a day.

The second game of the opening series, originally scheduled for Wednesday, April 7, will now be played on Tuesday, April 6. Additionally, the Thursday game that week will be moved to Wednesday.

Monday, April 5, and Thursday, April 8, will serve as off days, with the Red Sox traveling to Kansas City for the weekend and the Yankees traveling to Tampa Bay.
