When NFL stars haul in 60-yard catches or make bone-jarring hits on the quarterback, it's easy to forget that they're people too, and every now and then, they run into everyday problems just like you.

That apparently happened to four Patriots on Wednesday. According to Providence Journal reporter and NESN insider Shalise Manza Young, four players were late for an 8 a.m. team meeting due to the inclement weather and the resulting traffic. Randy Moss, Adalius Thomas, Gary Guyton and Derrick Burgess reportedly were sent home and told they could not participate in meetings or practice on Wednesday.

Bill Belichick, in his meeting with the media Wednesday morning, did not confirm the report. Belichick said such information would remain in-house, according to ESPNBoston.com reporter and NESN insider Mike Reiss.
