If teams want to trade for Blue Jays ace Roy Halladay, they're going to have to act fast. That's because the 32-year-old, who has a full no-trade clause, said he won't approve any deal after he reports to spring training, according to ESPN.com's Buster Olney.

Several reports said that Halladay would be willing to waive his no-trade clause if a trade was negotiated with the Red Sox or Yankees, though this most recent news eliminates the possibility of a midseason trade.

The news comes the same day that American League MVP Joe Mauer said he'd be setting a deadline of the beginning of the season for the Twins to work out a contract extension.
