Yankees Re-Sign Andy Pettitte to One-Year Deal A day after agreeing in principle to a deal that will land them center fielder Curtis Granderson, the Yankees continued to round out their roster on Wednesday by filling in their pitching staff. According to Joel Sherman of the New York Post, the Yankees and Andy Pettitte have agreed to a one-year deal worth $11.75 million.

With Pettitte back on board for his 16th season in the majors and 13th with New York, the Yankees now have three of their five rotation spots filled with Pettitte, CC Sabathia and A.J. Burnett.

Pettitte went 14-8 with a 4.16 ERA in 32 starts for the Yankees last season. He won the games that clinched the Yankees the AL East, the ALDS, the ALCS and the World Series.
