Bruins Fall Flat in Third Period Against Ducks It’s going to be a long road for the Bruins unless they find a way to grind out those tough games against tough opponents on the road — especially if they can’t find a way to hold a one-goal lead through the final period.

The Bruins came from behind to take a lead with a three-goal second period, but they ultimately fell 4-3 to the Ducks after being stymied over the final 20 minutes of play.

Zdeno Chara, Matt Hunwick and Marco Sturm scored for the B’s, while Mark Recchi tallied two assists.
