On Thursday, the Bruins had their final practice before heading west to Buffalo to face the division-leading Sabres, a squad that leads the Bruins by 15 points in the standings.
The good news from practice is that veteran winger Marco Sturm is back practicing after missing five games with a leg injury and defenseman Andrew Ference, out with a groin injury since Jan. 5, skated on his own prior to practice.
