According to online bookmaker William Hill, not very good.
Following Woods’ accident in late November, the British bookmaker placed the odds at 4-6 that the world's No. 1 golfer would play at Augusta National. This week, the odds fell to 1-4.
William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams offers a reasonable explanation.
"We've only taken money on the one side that he will be playing there, so that's why we shortened it right up," Adams told The Associated Press. "Everybody who's had a bet seems absolutely certain that he'll make it to Augusta."
Adams says Augusta National is the ideal place for the four-time Masters champion to make his return to golf.
"In terms of security and everything else like that, the Masters is perhaps the perfect place," Adams told the AP. "Not just any old chap can get there. The crowds are pretty quiet. They aren't the sort who are going to start giving him a bit of the old leg-pulling halfway through."
William Hill is offering several other Woods-related wagers as well. The company has placed 5-2 odds that the 34-year-old Woods will win this year’s Masters, 33-1 odds that he will win all four majors, 16-1 odds that he will win three majors, 4-1 that he will win two and 11-8 that he will win one.
"He's the favorite for every tournament he plays in," Adams told the AP. "It's as simple as that."
