Jose Contreras may have a new home.

The veteran right-hander has reportedly reached an agreement with the Phillies on a one-year deal, according to MLB.com.

Phillies GM Ruben Amaro Jr. would not confirm the news, which was first reported by ESPNDeportes.com on Friday.

"We have had discussions with his agent, and we are working on some things," Amaro told MLB.com.

Contreras, 38, has spent time with the Yankees, the White Sox and the Rockies. In seven seasons, he boasts a 71-63 record and a 4.61 ERA. Last season, he went 6-13 with a 4.92 ERA.
