Report: Orioles Sign Miguel Tejada to One-Year Deal

The Baltimore Sun is reporting that the Orioles have reached an agreement with free agent shortstop Miguel Tejada on a one-year deal.

Pending a physical, Tejada will be returning to Charm City, where he was a member of the Os' from 2004-2007.

The six-time All-Star hit .313 with 14 home runs and 86 RBIs in 158 games last season for the Houston Astros. In four seasons with the AL East O's, he hit .311 with 102 home runs and 429 RBIs before being dealt to the Astros in 2007 for Mike Costanzo, Matt Albers, Troy Patton, Dennis Sarfate and Luke Scott.
