Representatives from the Red Sox will be on hand to watch left-hander Noah Lowry work out in Phoenix, ESPN.com’s Jerry Crasnick reported via Twitter.
Lowry, who hasn’t pitched since 2007 because of thoracic outlet syndrome, has a career record of 40-31 to go with a 4.03 ERA. The 29-year-old posted a 14-8 mark in 2007 to go with a 3.92 ERA.
Also attending the session will be reps from the Reds, Dodgers, Cardinals, Astros, Nationals, Mariners, Cubs, Braves and Mets among others.
Thoracic outlet syndrome (TOS) is a combination of pain in the neck and shoulder, numbness and tingling of the fingers, and a weak grip, according to Medline Plus.
