Stephon Marbury couldn't find a job in the NBA this season, so he's doing what the college players do – heading overseas.

The former Knicks and Celtics guard has agreed to join the Chinese Basketball Association's Shanxi club, according to ESPN.com.

Marbury, a two-time NBA All-Star, will arrive in Shanxi next week. The team is currently in 15th place out of 17 teams and hopes the Marbury signing will help them make a push into the playoffs.

"The aim of signing Marbury is to pay back our fans and try to win more games in the rest of the season," Shanxi boss Wang Xingjiang told ESPN.com.
