Tom Brady Pumped For Surgery-Free Offseason

Tom Brady Pumped For Surgery-Free Offseason This offseason will be a little different for Patriots quarterback Tom Brady — in a good way.

Unlike last year, he won’t be going under the knife.

“I’m feeling good. I really am,” Brady said on Monday. “I’m excited I don’t have to have surgery this offseason. I remember where I was at a year ago at this time, and there were all these concerns about whether I was going to play this year, but I was never really concerned about that — [which] I tried to tell you guys.

“It’s nice to be in an offseason where I really can get started right away.”

As for the Super Bowl, Brady, of course, would prefer to be playing in it. Since he’s not, he doesn’t particularly care who walks away with the title.

“I don’t like either team, but one has to win,” Brady said with a laugh. “I don’t know. … I hope they both lose, if possible.”

If the Patriots are going to compete next year, Brady is well aware that his team has some problems to solve first.

“Every team has problems,” Brady said. “There are strengths and weaknesses. It’s about identifying them and trying to figure out ways to improve them.”
