Many Red Sox fans dream of the opportunity to meet the team’s captain, Jason Varitek. Now, the Celebrities for Charity Foundation is giving you the opportunity to do just that.

The Celebrities for Charity Foundation is holding a raffle that will benefit Journey Forward, a nonprofit organization that focuses on helping patients with severe spinal cord injuries. And a lucky fan could win a once-in-a-lifetime experience, while supporting this great cause.

The raffle prize includes: two tickets to Red Sox spring training games on March 27-28, $1,500 to cover travel expenses and, best of all, the chance to have dinner with the captain.

Tickets for the raffle cost $2, and the minimum purchase is five tickets. The deadline to enter is March 22 at 11:00 a.m., and the winner will be announced later that same day.

For more information and to enter the raffle, visit the Celebrities for Charity Foundation’s Web site.
