Apparently, a pattern of late-game collapses and legacy-crushing mistakes aren't enough to keep the Colts from being the best team in the NFL.

That's at least what can be gained from The Associated Press' report that the Colts were selected by BetUS.com as next year's Super Bowl favorites.

The Colts, who lost by 14 points in Sunday's Super Bowl XLIV, have been given 7-1 odds to hoist the Lombardi Trophy next February in Dallas. Behind the Colts are the Chargers (8-1), Saints (9-1) and Patriots (10-1). The Rams, who went 1-15 last season, have been given 150-1 odds to win the Super Bowl.
