Rasheed Wallace Struggling as NBA Trade Deadline Approaches

Rasheed Wallace Struggling as NBA Trade Deadline Approaches The Celtics have a long way to go before they’ll be ready to prove they are the dominant team in the Eastern Conference. But will that way involve trading for a missing piece of the puzzle?

With the NBA trade deadline looming, NESN insider Dana Barros stopped by Tuesday’s edition of SportsDesk to sound off on any possible moves the Celtics could make.

With the Ray Allen talk winding down, Rasheed Wallace has been the most popular name to surface in the rumor mill. Will he be dealt? No, according to GM Danny Ainge, but Barros still thinks the Detroit import hasn’t quite been fitting in lately.

“He hasn’t really found his niche because of the injuries,” Barros told John Chandler. “He’s been a starter, he’s come off the bench somewhat, he’s been pretty flexible. … I think he will turn his shooting around the second half of the year.”

Watch below to find out what else Barros had to say.
