Dustin Pedroia Excited to See Damage New Red Sox Lineup Can Generate No one is more excited for spring training than second baseman Dustin Pedroia.

The former AL MVP spent the offseason working on his speed and is eager to see what the new-look Red Sox lineup can do offensively.

Pedroia worked with Dodgers’ star Andre Ethier in the offseason in hopes of gaining a step in 2010 to help that already-speedy top of the order score more runs.

The No. 2 hitter sat down with Peter Gammons and Tom Caron in Fort Myers on Sunday to preview the upcoming year and look back on the year that was.
